Hello, I am Chiara Sorrenti, a traveller enchanted by the beauty of the world, with poetry in my heart and wonder in my eyes. I have been doing corporate training and organizing outdoor language activities for 12 years. I am a Language Trainer 4.0, specializing in working with local companies who want to expand beyond regional borders and become international, and with individuals who are passionately seeking their way.
I love all the outdoor, from the sea to the mountains, camping to snow, water sports to triathlons, and I am also a barefoot juggler. The art of Frida Kahlo, the poetry of Alda Merini and the music of Lhasa de Sela are sources of inspiration for my somewhat wild gypsy nature.
The idea of organizing language retreats came from my travel experience.
I studied Oriental languages and started travelling early in the Middle East and North Africa. My first trip to Tunisia was a shock to my brain, it also made me discover my ability to communicate even when I don't know the language.
Since then, I have travelled to many other countries, such as Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Australia, the USA, and each time I have learned something new and had an amazing experience.
I decided to create Tongsy Outdoor Learning to share the beauty and excitement I experienced on these trips with those who have a desire to discover the world in an authentic and fun way. I think curiosity and thirst for knowledge are natural in every human being and learning a new language is a unique and unforgettable experience.
